In Senegal, the famous Kora musician, Ablaye Cissoko, just released an album called ‘ Mes Racines’ (‘My roots’). Since he first appeared on the international music scene in Oslo in 1996, Ablaye Cissoko has rolled out a number of collaborations through multiple meetings with various international stars. But this album was compiled with other Senegalese artists in Saint Louis, in the north of the country. A report with Bineta Diagne for France 24.
