This is a teaser of a 7 minute video for the Humanitarian Aid & Civil Protection of European Commission (ECHO) about the permanent emergency in Sahel Region.
Over the last decade, four successive food crises have affected up to 18 million people in the Sahel. Hunger and malnutrition have now become a permanent emergency. Since 2012, the AGIR alliance aims to break this cycle of emergency by addressing its causes and reinforcing the resilience of the most vulnerable people. In the field we see best practices being multiplied. By displaying resolve and coordinated action across the region we can guarantee a dignified future for the people of the Sahel. The time for AGIR is now.
